Project Team
The UC Berkeley Library Digital Humanities Team is affiliated with the Data and Digital Scholarship Group located in Doe Library. The DH Team is comprised of:

Bee Lehman, Ph.D. (PI)
Bee Lehman is the literature and digital humanities librarian and historian at UC Berkeley. Their research focuses on literary identity and space across the 20th century. On the weekend, Bee takes their tortoise on walks and fails to bake cookies. -
Mackenzie Hanh Cramer (2025-present)
In 2026, Mackenzie Cramer was a Masters student in Information Management and Systems at UC Berkeley, with a specialization in Data Science and Cognitive Science. Her research focused on natural language processing with applications in digital humanities and cultural analytics. She also has a penchant for crocheting and spending time with dogs. -
Mariana Zaragoza (2025-present)
Mariana Zaragoza holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Medieval studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She graduated with Highest Honors in her major. Her research focuses on early English poetry, manuscript culture, and the ways medieval literature expresses ideas of space, self, and feeling. She is passionate about literary analysis, archival research, and how the stories of the past continue to shape the present. -
Jack Mitchell Adams (2026)
Jack Mitchell Adams is a former aircraft mechanic. As of 2026, he is pursuing a Physics associate before transitioning into an Aerospace Engineering Bachelors. He enjoys telling people how incredible the invention of the jet engine is–-as well as what his cat did that week.
