Remember to take a deep breath and take care of yourself. You can’t pour from an empty glass! Also be sure to stay safe as you get home. With Daylight Savings, it gets dark earlier, so be sure to walk with a buddy or make use of the night safety services Berkeley offers.

This week is the second week of Lab Module C!

We will have a buffer week for this Module and the due date for your labs will still be the week after buffer week. However, we highly encourage you to try to finish labs as fast as you can so you can start working on your final project!

Fall is upon us! Stay warm and stay dry, and remember to take care of you. A mug of hot chocolate or hot tea is an excellent pick me up in these trying times. And if you have a furry friend, they can be excellent company in this final push of the semester. (Luna, Cleo, and Bo may occasionally be found on campus for furry friend company)

Week 1 Announcements
Happy first full week of classes, y’all! It’s going to be a good one :) Here are a few things to keep an eye out for:
LAB

If you haven’t done so already, please sign up for a lab section (#15). If you are not enrolled in a lab section and attempt to attend it, you will be turned away.

If you recently got off the waitlist and are unable to sign up for the section, please email Stella at seo.jysk@

Lab 1 will be released on the course website. It is an introduction to ROS, or Robot Operating System!

Labs start with a mini-lecture that goes over the announcements for the week, as well as some context for the lab. Waitlisted students will be able to view the slides on the course website.

If unable to get checked off in class, please come to office hours.

If you are a waitlisted student, you are expected to complete the lab during Office Hours.

Students enrolled in a Monday section can come to any lab section or office hours. We ask that you email the TA of the section you plan to attend so they can let you know if they expect overcrowding in their section.

Failure to complete Lab 1 by the deadline (before your next lab section) will result in being dropped from the course.
